MINNESOTA’S CHIMNEY RESTORATION PROFESSIONALS
CHIMNEY CHAMPS
Ah, the chimney—a vitally important component of any fireplace system, and one that’s somehow easy to overlook. If your chimney has seen better days, or if you’re concerned about your chimney’s structural integrity, it’s time to call in the pros for help.
BRICK CHIMNEYS DONE RIGHT
There’s a reason why brick is the most popular material for residential chimneys: it has a very high heat resistance and a refined, classically-rugged aesthetic. While brick chimneys look great and perform well, brick is also a material which is prone to deterioration—especially in wet or snowy climates.
Chimneys look simple, but are actually complex structures that perform crucial functions—and they can be dangerous when dysfunctional. This means that a brick chimney needs special, annual attention to make sure that the structure is sound. It’s also why it’s important to entrust your brick chimney repairs to trained and experienced professionals.

SAFETY
A poorly-maintained brick chimney can result in smoke, fire, mold growth, or hazardous gas leaks. Think of your chimney repair as an investment in your home’s safety.
AESTHETIC
Great brick repair requires an eye for aesthetics. You’d be surprised at the visual impact a crisp, clean-looking chimney can have—not to mention the boost to your home’s value.
LONG-TERM SAVINGS
A poorly-constructed chimney is an expensive mistake in the long run. If you do it right the first time, you’ll avoid moisture intrusion and costly water damage in the future.

WHAT’S OUR PROCESS?
For all chimney work, we first conduct a thorough site walkthrough. We inspect the general state of the chimney and roof as seen from the ground, and then fly a drone up to get birds-eye footage of the chimney in situ. Once this footage is reviewed, we have a good idea of the chimney’s condition, its potential trouble areas, and what needs to be done to get it fixed properly.
The next step, after generating an estimate and scheduling the job, is to get up on that roof and get to work. Depending on the size and scale of the chimney and the work to be done, an appropriately-sized crew arrives on site, erects scaffolding, and gets all the necessary tools and materials assembled. Then, our masons do what they do best—repair and restore the chimney, bringing it back to like-new condition.
WILL IT MATCH?
A large concern for many homeowners is getting an accurate color match between the existing brick and mortar, and the new materials that are used in repair. We make a tremendous effort to match brick and mortar color and texture, so that the repair blends into the chimney structure. This process takes an artist’s eye and a professional’s access to an enormous range of brick and mortar options—two qualities that we have in spades.
